Graduate Admissions
In order to apply to a graduate degree program at the University of Florida, please follow these steps:
Step 1.
Apply to the Graduate School at the University of Florida. You can do this here.
Special Instructions for Teacher Leadership for School Improvement Applicants:
When you are completing this application, in section 2 (Application Information), note you are applying for a Master's Degree or Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Teacher Leadership for School Improvement (TLSI). For departmental contact, please add "Online-Colleen Swain" in the appropriate field.
Special Instructions for Educational Technology Applicants:
Note you are applying for a Master's Degree or Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Educational Technology. For departmental contact, please add “Online-Rick Ferdig” in the appropriate field.
Step 2. Arrange
to have official transcripts from each postsecondary institution
attended and your GRE test scores sent to the University of Florida
Admissions Office.
The GRE is a requirement of the College of
Education. You must achieve a cumulative score of 1000 (verbal and
quantitative), with a score of at least 450 in each section. Contact
ETS (http://www.gre.org/) for information about GRE test dates and to
send your scores to the University of Florida.

Step 3.
Send copies of your transcripts and GRE scores to the School of
Teaching and Learning. You must also send 3 letters of recommendations.
You can download the recommendation forms online here. Finally, your packet must include a statement of purpose defining why you wish to enroll in this program.
